Fiammetta Jyoti Rossi – certified Sivananda Yoga Vedanta teacher and member of Yoga Alliance; her spiritual name “Jyoti” means “inner divine light”.

Born in 1975, as the daughter of an Italian diplomat she grew up in India and USA, and has travelled to many foreign countries. These experiences, as well as her family’s strong interest for India (her mother being an expert in classical Indian Karnatic music) has provided her unique cultural backgroung and a deep connection with this Country.

Once back in Italy, she pursued a Degree in Veterinary Medicine and worked as a Veterinary surgeon for several years, in a veterinary hospital in Rome.

While still as a student back in the 90′s, she developed a great interest in spiritual and holistic practices such as Reiki, Kinesiology, Tai Chi, Zen meditation, Dyads (contemplation techniques). She attended worksops and retreats on meditation and contemplation, such as Enlightenment Intensives (as taught by Yogeshwar Muni – Charles Berner).

Later she started practicing different styles of yoga in Italy and in India and, after several years of personal practice, she attended the Teachers’ Training Course organized by the International Sivananda Yoga Vedanta Centers.

Her interest in personal growth lead her to pursue a two-year training in Coaching and a three-year training in Holistic Counseling (based on emotional Kinesiology and C.Berner’s Mind Clearing techniques) at Centro Git, a private association in Rome. As a result of her knowledge in spiritual practices and Coaching techniques, she practiced as a Holistic Coach and held workshops in Italy and New Mexico (USA).

Inspired by her ever growing passion for India, she followed classes on Hinduism at the Faculty for Eastern Studies (FSO) in Rome’s Sapienza University.

She is currently living in Parma and travels as often as she can to India, as well as to enchanting New Mexico (USA), where she was introduced to Space Clearing and Chakra Healing techniques.
